Highest data quality is of significant importance at every data migration from legacy systems to new implemented systems.
That´s our approach
As part of the data migrations as an experienced Data Quality expert I analyze the various data pools. Obvious and hidden weaknesses may be discovered. With this current state we can plan the necessary steps – and there are no more blockers for a successful migration.
That data can be migrated in a clean manner, it requires proper planning and implementation.
Our approach to data quality management comprises several levels accordingly :
On organizational level, the anchoring of the responsibility for the quality defining appropriate roles and functions carried.
On process level, the consistent mapping of business processes in the operational systems and of the solution will be done.
On structural level, the analysis of the structural integrity (technically) and the mapping is done to the business logic (functional).
On data level studies on the nature of the source data have to be carried out (Domains, completeness, static correctness , etc.)
